Using common project management standards from traditional (waterfall), hybrid to agile, I take a holistic view: from requirements elicitation and project initiation to project completion.
MVP stands for minimum viable product and represents the easiest to release version of a product that allows you to rigorously test a business model. There are three core elements necessary to have an MVP, which are (1) the customer derives value from using the product; (2) the customer pays for the product; and (3) the product is sufficient to start a customer feedback loop, in which the customer can iterate toward a better product. This human-centered design approach always starts with understanding the needs of your customers in order to integrate considerations related to viability and feasibility.
The Human Centered Design Approach
(DIN 9241-210 Norm) focuses on the needs of your target groups and the benefits of your solution. Your potential target persons will get involved in the conception phase (e.g. user testing) and thus the product or service development that you want to deliver, is more tailored to the intended target markets.
The result of the Human-Centered Design Approach is a tailor-made product development for your intended target markets.
